Summer 2026 Lesson Information

We all need flexibility in the summertime, but it is important to keep up with your music studies so that you don’t forget what you have learned. Summer is also a great time to advance on your instrument without the distractions of the school year. With that in mind, here is how our flexible schedule will work:

• Our summer session will run for 6 weeks during June and July, excluding certain weeks as detailed below.

•  Students are not expected to attend lessons every week in the summer.

• Use the registration form below to select which weeks you would like to attend lessons. This is not a firm commitment; it just lets us know which weeks to contact you.

• These lessons will be invoiced as one large summer session instead of month to month. (Any credits acquired during the summer will be utilized toward fall lessons)

• Exact schedules will be determined the Friday before the lesson week (in some cases, the weekend before). Pre-registered students for that week will receive scheduling priority.

• Additional lessons (that you do not sign up for in advance) can be requested week to week via text message if there are openings in the schedule. Please try to submit these requests by Friday the week before you are looking to take the lesson. We will not be contacting students about additional lessons that are not on their sign-up forms. It is up to you to reach out if you are interested.

• Cancellation/reschedule policies will remain the same as they are during the school year. Please be mindful of other students who may be looking for a place on the schedule that week and try to give as much notice for cancellations as you can.

Please note: Fall lessons are tentatively scheduled to begin the week of August 17th. (More info on fall lessons to come!) There will be no lessons August 1st-16th.
